What kind of parts does New Dimensions use?
We have both dealer and OE quality aftermarket parts available through our various accounts with local suppliers. Most parts are available for same day repairs. We only use professional-grade materials, and your parts purchase is covered by our guarantee.
I can find the part cheaper on the internet, will you install it?
Sure, in most cases we will do this for our customers. However, we strongly discourage customers from purchasing their own parts. First and foremost, it’s important to understand that we do not offer a guarantee on repairs if supplied by the customer and we charge our standard labor rate plus 20%.
Why? It’s simple.
PART QUALITY:
We have no control over the part quality you decide to purchase. That online “deal” you found could be a used or refurbished part, or worse a poor quality knock-off.
TIME AND EFFORT:
Have you ever put together a piece of furniture only to discover missing screw holes or slightly skewed measurements? This happens all the time with cheap parts. We spend time removing components and draining fluids, only to find the part supplied doesn’t work or fit. The technician can’t leave your vehicle in the bay for hours, or often days, while you return the part for a replacement. Instead, the vehicle must be put back together to push out, while we wait for a replacement. That part savings has now cost you time, and additional labor charges for a second installation.
FAILURES:
Great! The repair has been completed and you leave the shop happy, saving money with the internet purchased part. After a few days or months, the part fails. Now what? Will New Dimensions charge to replace it? Absolutely. The part you purchased is not covered by our guarantee because we have no recourse to recoup the cost of labor to replace the defective part. When we purchase parts from our suppliers, our technician’s time to install a replacement could be reimbursed once the defect is proven.

Does New Dimensions Automotive honor extended warranties?
YES! Some extended warranty plans require you take your vehicle to a specific shop or even the dealer you purchased the warranty plan from. However, there are MANY extended warranty plans that allow customers to use an independent repair shop for diagnostics and repairs. New Dimensions Automotive can help facilitate extended warranty repairs, working with your plan administrator for approvals and payments.
