- Scanned for codes, found p0446 – evap vent control problem. Connected evap smoke test machine to vehicle. Attempted to actuate vent solenoid using scan tool and found fuel tank pressure would remain unchanged and smoke would not vent out. Verified vent solenoid was recieving 12v at connector. Bench tested vent solenoid and heard audible click when power was applied, Verifying the solenoid closes/opens. Tested solenoid again with smoke and found solenoid would stay stuck closed while under pressure. Canister vent solenoid is failing.
- EVAPORATION CONTROL CANISTER VENT SOLENOID- Remove & Replace connector
