2006 Chevrolet Silverado

Attempted to actuate vent solenoid using scan tool and found fuel tank pressure would remain unchanged and smoke would not vent out. Verified vent solenoid was recieving 12v at connector. Bench tested vent solenoid and heard audible click when power was applied, Verifying the solenoid closes/opens. Tested solenoid again with smoke and found solenoid would stay stuck closed while under pressure. Canister vent solenoid is failing.

2015 GMC Sierra 1500

Monitored live data and found cylinder 4 consistently misfiring along with random misfires on cylinder 2. Removed cylinder 4 spark plug and found plug was dark and smelled like fuel. Inspected inside of cylinder 4 using borescope and found cylinder looks washed out/damp. Deactivated cylinder 4 fuel injector using scan tool with engine running. Felt little to no change with injector activated/deactivated. Cylinder 4 fuel injector is failing. Replacement of all fuel injectors is recommended due to vehicle's age (2015) and mileage.
